Website email list
Submitting the form with consent stores your email, submission time, source page and consent-text version in the website’s own hosted database. No newsletter provider is used. Saving an address does not send email or verify ownership of that address.
Keep the private removal link shown after submitting. It deletes that specific submission without an account. Duplicate submissions are separate records. The owner can also remove records from the private inbox. Do not submit someone else’s address.
Who can see it?
Email records and CSV exports are restricted server-side to the configured owner’s verified ChatGPT sign-in. Raw database files are not included in the website source or app download.
Retention and controls
Submissions remain until removed by their private link or the owner. Short-lived hashed network-rate counters limit abuse and expire. There are no advertising pixels or third-party marketing analytics in this build. The hosting platform may maintain operational logs and authentication cookies.
Local app data
ByteDrop keeps shared files, staging copies and identities on Windows. Shared files do not pass through this marketing website. Removing a website email does not remove an app file, and revoking a session cannot recall files already saved by a recipient.
Before public launch
The marketing website is publicly accessible. The desktop app remains a development preview. The operating entity and support/contact details must be finalized before a production app release; use the private removal link supplied after signup to remove a website submission. This describes current behavior; it is not a claim of regulatory certification.
